A driving leader of water efficiency initiatives in California since 1990, Maureen Erbeznik brings direct experience to the LABBC with the application of water use efficiency technologies for plumbing, HVAC, landscape and irrigation, food service and reuse for both residential and commercial property sites. Early in her career, she developed and launched numerous efficiency programs while working for the City of Santa Monica, DMC Services and Honeywell.  

Maureen founded Erbeznik & Associates, Inc. in 2002, a certified woman-owned water and energy efficiency consulting firm with a specialization in program operational design and implementation as well as development of innovative marketing campaigns and strategies. 

Throughout her career, Maureen has designed, implemented and assessed more than 40 major residential and commercial water and energy efficiency programs on behalf of her clients. Some of her past and present clients include: Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, LADWP, the City of Santa Monica and the City of Pasadena, among others. 

AS Design

Sharon Barcarse provides over 30 years of experience in the graphic design industry, including branding, publications, advertising, marketing collateral, and online design. She spent 13 years in publication and advertising; both as an art director and later as a creative director overseeing more than 50 annual publications.

In 2003, Sharon started AS Design, based in Santa Monica, CA. Clients have included Guidant Corporation, Abbot Laboratories, Clay Lacy Aviation, Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plans, Pacific Federal Insurance, Mission Community Hospital, San Fernando Community Health Center, Los Angeles Better Buildings Challenge, Valley Industry & Commerce Association, and Los Angeles Valley College.

In her free time, Sharon and her husband like to discover new restaurants and post far too many food and wine photos on Instagram.
